Penelope Trappes is a London-based vocalist and soundscaper.
Since 2017 she has composed percussion-less, reverb-heavy haunting atmospherics with dystopian themes, releasing Penelope One, Penelope Two and is now onto the final installment of the trilogy, Penelope Three.
Trappes completes her ambitious and otherworldly triptych with an album of healing. She looks to release herself from fear and into love, evoked in her signature ambient, gothic dreamlands that are equal parts shoegaze pop and surrealist soundscapes.
A swell of meditative sounds coalesces as Penelope Trappes places her brooding ethereal works in the hands of the London Contemporary Orchestra.
