After 18 months behind The Purcell Room reopens its doors by launching a brand new artistic strand, Purcell Sessions. Set to feature some of the most talked-about cultural moments of the year ahead, from audiovisual installations to new collaborations and commissions and cross-genre concepts by allowing artists to push the new ground with bold contemporary approaches.
In their first collaboration, experimental composer Laurel Halo teams up with the London Contemporary Orchestra to find new ground for her upcoming music by creating something unique: a work in progress fusing the combined potential of a masterful orchestra and a producer toying with her new ideas.
Laurel Halo is an American experimental music composer and producer who is currently based in Berlin. In 2021 she launched a new record label and monthly NTS show called Awe.
